High Trek Adventure

A friend and I are doing this race in Davis on Saturday.

What is High Trek Adventure?

High Trek Adventure is a unique, one-of-a-kind urban adventure game where brains beat brawn! Teams of two solve clever clues and face fun challenges all while navigating the urban landscape via foot or on public transportation! It's a scavenger hunt, with all the thrills of the amazing race, mixed in with trivial pursuit, throw in a mini road race and add a dash of cat-and-mouse. And voila! You've got High Trek Adventure! Came in last and had a blast! Just kidding. We came in 5th! And believe me, we were very happy to in the top six! Wow.

My friend was funny. She was having second thoughts about the whole thing when we opened the first set of clues. After studying the list for a minute or so, we quickly figured out one of the six clues and then, my oh my, we were ready for action!

Hi Amy! Glad you can read the blog now!

Yeah, it was a lot of fun. My feet were the only thing that didn't enjoy the whole experience, but after a day of recovery it was all good. I definitely would do it again!

Hugs to you and the girls. How was Caroline's birthday?

You have a really interesting collection of guitarists you like! Haven't seen too many people aware of Buckethead! And the fact that you mix him in with Santana is cool . . .

Hi Michael! Thanks for taking the time to comment. I was pleasantly surprised, so of course I clicked to check out your blog. Cool band you have! I love Carlos' music. Have seen him many times and would see any band that covers Santana. So when does your band play next?

One thing that your blog left me wondering about.... when did Santana divorce?

ps.. I just watched/listened to a video this morning of Buckethead live at Slim's in San Francisco back in 2004. Haven't seen him live for a while now so videos are the next best thing.
